Our classes cover essential topics such as prenatal and postnatal care, breathing exercises, breastfeeding knowledge, and self-care through nervous system regulation.

BREATHING FOR BIRTH

 

This one-hour Breathwork Session is designed to prepare you for the journey of labor and delivery. Throughout the session, you will receive expert guidance on effective breathing techniques to help you navigate this significant life event. These techniques and tools will support you during labor and delivery.

You will learn simple yet powerful breathing techniques, including diaphragmatic breathing, rhythmic breathing, and visualization exercises, which can become instinctual and connect with your nervous system responses. By consistently practicing on these exercises before labor begins, you will empower your body and mind to respond with a sense of calm, control, and focus when labour starts.

Additionally, this session emphasizes the connection between your breath and your body's physiological responses, helping you cultivate a deeper understanding of how breath is your own medicine and can ease tension and promote relaxation during labor. Practicing these techniques will serve as valuable tools in your toolkit as you embark on your childbirth experience, fostering a more confident and positive approach to delivery.

 

BREATHE INTO LIFE

This 3-part breathing course offers tools to calm your nervous system and support a healthy pregnancy. Through mindful breathing techniques, you'll learn to make informed choices, relax your body, and enhance your understanding of childbirth. The class focuses on managing labor pain, promoting relaxation during contractions, and benefiting breastfeeding and post-birth healing. By connecting with your breath, you'll foster deeper connections with yourself and loved ones while encouraging a healthy pregnancy and mental well-being.

BREASTFEEDING 101

This class focuses on breastfeeding techniques, tools, and resources to help you transition smoothly into breastfeeding. You will learn about different positions, latching, pumping, and supplementation. The course also covers calming breath techniques that enhance oxytocin production and promote relaxation.

You can achieve a more efficient and comfortable breastfeeding experience by using specific techniques through Breath Control Therapy.

BREATHING THROUGH YOUR CYCLE

Our hormones follow a 28-day cycle with fluctuations that impact our physical and emotional states, requiring different approaches throughout. Hormonal changes can affect lung function and inflammatory responses, influencing oxygen absorption and potentially leading to breathing issues. These changes also affect energy levels, nutritional needs, moods, sex drive, skin condition, and weight.

This can be a 1- hour information session or a 4-part course.

BREATHING TO CONNECT TO YOUR HEART

This 1-hour class is for connecting your breath to your heart. It is essential for overall health and prepares your mind and body for pregnancy. Many of us live in our minds rather than being present in our bodies, and breathwork can help bridge that gap.

In this class, you'll learn how your heart rhythm changes with each breath, helping to regulate your heart rate and improve mood, sleep, digestion, and stress response.
